HEALTHY LEISURE
From the Council of Equality, Social Policies and Human Resources of the Fuerteventura council and through the Information and Addiction Prevention Service (SIPA), they have organized the project called "Healthy Leisure".
The leisure alternatives have varied in the last year, either due to the closure of facilities, reduction of hours, cancellation of activities ... On the other hand, the increase in the use of new technologies and the organization of parties or illegal meetings by of some young people (for example), represents a risk in terms of the expansion of the Covid 19 situation. Hence the need to provide an alternative response, promoting responsible, educational, participatory, relational and egalitarian leisure, in healthy spaces.
The objectives of this project are:
- Improve the quality of leisure and free time for young people.
- Offer healthy leisure alternatives.
- Favor a nearby space to inform and advise on addiction matters.
- Encourage the use of resources and public spaces available on the island, giving them proper use.
- Publicize the SIPA resource.
We are very grateful to the Cabildo de Fuerteventura and SIPA for this initiative.
