VISIT OF THE COUNCILOR FOR HEALTH AND EDUCATION OF LA OLIVA TOWN HALL

On Friday April 16, the Councilor for Health and Education of La Oliva Town Hall, Joana Pérez Carreño, visited our high school to see firts-hand our ERASMUS + FIT4THOUGHT PROJECT.

Carolina Ramos, coordinator of this ERASMUS + PROJECT and also of the EUROPEAN PROJECTS OF THE ETWINNING PLATFORM  that are carried out this school year, accompanied the Councilor explaining the general and specific objectives of this project and also the activities that we are carrying out in this school year. APRIL HEALTHY MONTH is one of these initiatives. Taking advantage of the fact that this month is celebrated the World Day of Physical Activity (April 6), World Health Day (April 7), World Earth Day (April 22) and International Book Day (April 23)  has served as the perfect context to carry out activities that are beneficial to leading a life with healthy habits. In this HEALTHY MONTH sports activities have been organized, the exhibition "Do you know what I am?" , healthy talks, the reading corner, awareness activities about our planet and making respectful use of natural resources, rap battle, healthy walks and fruit distribution among the students. The Councilor has also been interviewed by the students who are part of the School Radio of our high school.

At FIT4THOUGHT we believe that leading a healthy life fills you with a good mood, gives you more energy to carry out our daily activities and keeps us in good relationship with the rest of the people wherever we are. With all these ingredients we are convinced that students and teachers will be more motivated thus improving academic and professional performance and also improving coexistence in our center where we bet on healthy life on three levels of our body: physical, metal and affective.

We are grateful for the collaboration of the teacher Pablo Altable and also from the Department of Physical Education, Iballa Martínez, Nacho Fanjul, Cathaysa Martínez and Noemí Marrero. We also thank Marta Padilla and Rayco Rodríguez for organizing the rap battle. Extend our gratitude to the Management team of our high school as well as to all the studnets who actvely participate in all the initiatives that we propose from ERAMUS + FIT4THOUGHT.
